Today will be mostly cloudy and cold ahead of a warmer but wet weekend.

The high for today will be near 35 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Skies will stay mostly cloudy tonight before gradually clearing. The overnight low will dip to around 25 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy but warmer, with a high near 47 degrees.

Saturday night will be breezy and rainy, with showers likely starting soon after sunset and continuing through morning. Wind gusts as high as 23 mph are possible. The overnight low is expected to fall to around 38 degrees.

Rain is expected to continue through the day on Sunday and into the evening.

It will be much warmer on Sunday with a high near 51 degrees. It also will be windy with gusts as high as 23 mph. Rain is likely Sunday night, mainly before 1 a.m. It will be cloudy with an overnight low around 46 degrees.

Rain continues for Monday, which will have a high near 58 degrees.
