    Early Berd’s in Hamilton expected to open by end of 2025
    The Butler County Commission held a special meeting on Tuesday morning where many of the more than 100 supporters of the Butler County EMA voiced their concerns about the county taking over the agency. The commission have explored the necessary steps to needed to be taken in order to take control of the Butler County EMA, and a decision must be made by Sept. 30, 2025, if the county takes over the agency by Jan. 1, 2026.     The Miracle Walk started in 2021 with one Fairfield man, Ben Otto, wanting to raise money for the Nuxhall Foundation's Hope Center project.     The city of Hamilton is considering allowing the acceptance of sponsorships and donations to support special events and marketing campaigns. The city has not had a sponsorship policy since it agreed in 2015 to allow the Hamilton Parks Conservancy to manage city-owned parks. That agreement left the city without a sponsorship policy.     The city of Hamilton along with Miami University students have developed a proposed Innovation District Master Plan. It's along the eastern side of the Great Miami River, the Miami University Hamilton Regional campus along with Vora Technology Park equate for 127 acres of developed land. These properties have been surrounded by an additional 102 acres of unused infill land. The plan structures the concept behind a 229 total acre development that includes single & multi-family housing, new roads and parking, new retail space, and with light industrial centers.
