Christmas Day will be cloudy with a chance of showers.

The high for today will be near 45 degrees. There is a slight chance of rain before 9 a.m. followed by a chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

A chance of showers continues into the evening, which marks the start of Hanukkah. Skies will be cloudy with an overnight low around 40 degrees.

Thursday will be partly sunny and warmer with a high near 52 degrees. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 40 degrees.

Skies will be mostly cloudy Friday with a high near 54 degrees. Rain is likely, mainly after 1 p.m. There is a chance of rain Friday night. Otherwise, it will be cloudy with an overnight low around 49 degrees.

Saturday will be rainy with a high near 60 degrees. Rain will continue Saturday night, which will have an overnight low around 51 degrees.

There is a chance of rain Sunday, which will be mostly cloudy with a high near 57 degrees. A chance of rain continues for Sunday night, which will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 42 degrees.
