Dylan Caldwell ran for two touchdowns, including the game-winner with 19 seconds remaining, as Ross High School’s football team edged visiting Western Brown 13-7 at Robinson Field.

Caldwell (18 carries, 59 yards), quarterback C.J. Boze (19 carries, 92 yards) and Jackson Gifford (four carries, 43 yards) led the ground game for the Rams, who improved to 2-1 coming off a 1-9 season.

Sean Lange added an interecption and a fumble recovery to the winning effort on homecoming for Ross. Josh Taylor ran 32 times for 114 yards and a TD for Western Brown (0-3).

Lakota East 32, Middletown 7: Jack Dobrozsi carried the ball 26 times for 127 yards and four touchdowns for the visiting Thunderhawks. They are 2-1 after the Greater Miami Conference-opening win.

Sean Church also threw a 37-yard TD pass to Christian Bodden for East, while Jackson Leahy and Adam Hundemer both had interceptions.

Josh Bryant gained 66 yards on 14 carries for the Middies (1-2). Quarterback Kamari Fuller was 11-of-17 for 68 yards and connected with Will Williams for a touchdown.

Talawanda 32, Eaton 20: Terell Wills had 185 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries as the host Braves pushed their record to 2-1.

Talawanda totaled 439 yards of offense and also got 139 yards on 15 carries from quarterback Tyler Teeters.

Kyle Campbell ran for a score, Luke Richardson returned a punt 86 yards for a touchdown, Tyler Engelhard kicked a 29-yard field goal and Dalton Norris notched a safety for the winners. Dylan Betz had an interception.

Zac Schmidt made nine receptions for 119 yards and two TDs for Eaton (0-3).

Xenia 35, Franklin 26: The visiting Wildcats rallied from a 28-7 deficit in the fourth quarter, but couldn't keep from falling to 0-3.

Quarterback Jake Bowermaster ran for two touchdowns and completed 7-of-15 passes for 68 yards for Franklin, while Braden Woods was 4-of-11 for 68 yards and hit Ryan Russell for a TD. Matt Centers also scored and ran 15 times for 83 yards.

Sincere Wells paced the Buccaneers (2-1) with 252 yards and three scores on 26 rushes.

Sycamore 8, Lakota West 7: Brian Doneghy ran for a touchdown and a 2-point conversion with 2:28 remaining for the host Aviators, who won the Greater Miami Conference opener and moved to 3-0.

David Afari scored a first-quarter TD for the Firebirds (1-2).

New Richmond 28, Monroe 14: Garrett Morris ran for a third-quarter touchdown and Nick Osterman hit TeJean Rice for a 65-yard TD in the final period for the visiting Hornets, who dropped to 0-3.

New Richmond is 2-1.

Oakwood 35, Carlisle 14: Brice Naylor and Jayden Sweeney scored touchdowns for the visiting Indians as they fell to 0-3.

Tommy Lunne threw four TD passes for the Lumberjacks (1-2).

Lebanon 7, West Clermont 3: Kyle Short's 12-yard touchdown run with 1:03 left was the difference for the visiting Warriors (2-1), while Nick Straw contributed 24 total tackles.

Cameron Null booted a 30-yard third-quarter field goal for the Wolves (1-2).

Deer Park 31, New Miami 0: Deshaun McEntire and Jerry Heard ran for two touchdown apiece as the Wildcats (3-0) rolled to the road victory.

McEntire collected 201 yads on 14 carries, and his scoring runs covered 94 and 75 yards. Heard had an 80-yard TD.

The Vikings slipped to 0-3.
