Jack Fessler erupted for 279 yards and five touchdowns on 24 carries Friday night as Fenwick High School’s football team blitzed host McNicholas 57-26 at Penn Station Stadium.

It was the highest point total for the Falcons since they defeated Roger Bacon 67-7 on Oct. 16, 2015.

Sully Janeck completed 13-of-23 passes for 220 yards and a touchdown to Jordan Rucker, and Davis Tanaka and Logan Miller added rushing TDs.

Fessler’s touchdowns came on runs of 53, 1, 5, 30 and 87 yards for Fenwick, which boosted its record to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the Greater Catholic League Coed North Division.

Miller came up with two interceptions and also paced the Falcons with nine total tackles. Fenwick collected 532 yards of offense.

The Rockets slipped to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the GCLC Central Division.
