Martin has compiled a 16-33 record in four seasons after taking over a program that was among the worst in the country at the time.

His best season so far is 2016 when the RedHawks finished the regular season on a six-game winning streak before losing the St. Petersburg Bowl to Mississippi State.
The RedHawks were 8-28 in the three seasons before Martin was hired, including an 0-12 campaign in 2013.
Martin's four full-year recruiting classes have ranked on average 4.3 in the MAC according 247Sports.com composite rankings.
The RedHawks begin spring football practice next week.
