Miami-Hamilton men fall to Urbana

HAMILTON — The Miami University-Hamilton men’s basketball team was defeated 85-69 by Urbana University, an NCAA Division II team, on Thursday, Jan. 14.

The Harriers (4-16), who played a strong second half after trailing by 25 points at halftime, were led by Kenneth Davis, 23 points, and Derek Brockman, 10 points.

MUH will return to action Sunday, Jan. 17 at Southern State.

Wizards’ Arenas charged with felony

Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas was charged Thursday with felony gun possession in connection with a Dec. 21 locker room confrontation with a teammate.

Prosecutors charged Arenas with one count of carrying a pistol without a license, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
