The Cincinnati Reds made their final cut Tuesday, two days before Opening Day, trimming the roster by reassigning reliever Matt Wisler to minor-league camp. That means Wandy Peralta and Robert Stephenson have made the team and will pitch out of the bullpen.

Here’s a look at the group that take the field against the Pittsburgh Pirates at 4:10 p.m. Thursday at Great American Ball Park.

Oldest player: Reliever Zach Duke was born on April 19, 1983. He turns 36 this season. He's five months older than first baseman Joey Votto.

Youngest player: Tyler Mahle, who will enter the season as the team's fifth starter, is 24. He was born on Sept. 29, 1994, about seven weeks after the start of the 1994 baseball strike that caused the cancellation of the postseason that year. Infielder Jose Peraza, born on April 30, 1994, is the second-youngest Red.

Longest-tenured player: Votto begins his 13th season with the Reds. That's more than twice as long as anyone else. Catcher Tucker Barnhart enters his sixth season. Third baseman Eugenio Suarez will begin his fifth season in Cincinnati.

First-time Reds: Starting pitchers Sonny Gray, Tanner Roark and Alex Wood begin their first seasons with the Reds, as do outfielders Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig, infielder Jose Iglesias and infielder/outfielder Derek Dietrich.

Opening Day streaks: Votto will make his 11th straight start on Opening Day. Suarez will be in the lineup for the fourth straight year. If Barnhart, Peraza and Scott Schebler start, it will be the third straight start for each.

Lack of rookies: The Reds had one player on the Opening Day roster last season who had never played in the big leagues, reliever Zack Weiss, and have no players in that category this season.
