Here’s where you can get a free donut in Dayton TODAY for National Donut Day

The offers are spreading for National Donut Day this Friday, June 7, 2019.

Notice that it’s not called national FREE donut day, because there’s some fine print with some of these offers, but still, there are deals to be had.

Bill’s is giving away one FREE “Cookies & Cream” doughnut, its new seasonal doughnut, no purchase necessary. “People are already calling about it,” said Lisa Elam Tucker, co-owner of Bill’s. “It’s going to be crazy in here.”

The folks at Duck Donuts, which specializes in made-to-order doughnuts, will be giving away one FREE “bare, cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar” doughnut, in-store only, no purchase necessary.

DUNKIN’ DONUTS

Dunkin’ will give customers one free “classic” doughnut of their choice, but they’ll have to purchase a beverage, any beverage, to take advantage of the offer, “at participating while supplies last,” according to a Dunkin’ release. “Classic” doughnuts, by the way, include favorites such as Boston Kreme, Glazed, Glazed Chocolate, Strawberry Frosted with Sprinkles.

The bakery will offer one glazed round doughnut free to any customer, no purchase necessary.

TIM HORTONS

Tim Hortons is using this year’s National Doughnut Day to release a new product called a “Churro Donut.” It is a Honey Cruller Donut filled with caramel filling and topped with cinnamon sugar. It will be available starting on National Doughnut Day on June 7 at participating Tim Hortons restaurants and available nationally starting June 12 for a limited time only, according to a Tim Hortons release. There is no specific free-doughnut offer this year, a spokeswoman for Tim Hortons said.
