Arthur Norman, 84, of Carlisle, OH, was called home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2025. Born on September 3, 1940, in Beattyville, KY, Arthur lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication. Arthur is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Bonnie (nee Hurt) Norman, whom he married on November 1, 1958. He was a devoted husband, patient and loving father to his sons, Michael (Cheryl Dalton) Norman of Fripp Island, SC, and Timothy (Kathleen) Norman of Wilmington, OH. Arthur was also a proud grandfather to Kyle (Alexandra) Norman of Des Plaines, IL, Jacob (Morgan) Norman of Flower Mound, TX, Claire (Michael) Newton of Knoxville, TN, Jenna Norman of Wilmington, OH, and Daniel Norman of Wilmington, OH. He leaves behind six cherished great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Loretta Day of Kettering, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Lola (nee Edwards) Norman, brothers John and Kenneth, and sisters Elizabeth and Rosemary. Arthur moved to Middletown at a young age and met his future bride when she moved in across the street with her sister. He delivered their newspaper, and their love story began. Arthur was a Master Electrician and retired from the Miamisburg Mound Plant in 1995. He was a man of many talents, known as a Jack-of-all-Trades who could fix anything with relentless perseverance. Arthur's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was a devoted man of God who loved his Lord deeply. He also loved camping, the outdoors, fruit cocktail cake, and Louis L'Amour Westerns, finding peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Arthur's legacy of love, faith, and dedication will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. A visitation for Arthur will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
