FigLeaf Brewing to celebrate 3rd anniversary with brews, bands

FigLeaf Brewing at 3387 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in Middletown plans to celebrate its 3rd anniversary Saturday with food, music, special merchandise, beer, cider and fizz.

A special taplist will include BA Black Solstice 2018, Imperial BoB (9 percent), Fire Marshall BoB (9 percent), Raspberry Lemonade Shandy, Lemonade Shandy, Weizenbock, Nowhere In Particular Black Peach Sour and possibly one more surprise.

KGBacoustic is scheduled to play from 1 to 4 p.m. and David Thornton Acoustic is scheduled to play from 7 to 10 p.m.

FigLeaf Brewing opened Oct. 8, 2016.

The Middletown brewery was acquired last month by March First Manufacturing, the Sycamore Twp.-based parent company of March First Brewing and Sycamore Distilling. The acquisition came with an expansion project, which will feature a bigger taproom and bar, and a new 700-square-foot kitchen that will allow FigLeaf to deliver more menu items on a daily basis.
