The seven-foot tall “Baroque Trajectory” was originally installed in Trinity Plaza, New York City in July 2001, just a few blocks south of the Twin Towers.
Damaged just a few months later in the devastating attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the piece has been restored by a team of artists at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and is now on display outside the Fitton Center for the forthcoming year.
The new sculpture replaces Wolfgang Auer's "Hatched Baby," a nine-foot tall sculpture that showed a big blue baby being hatched out of an egg.
