An SUV reported stolen from Middletown was pulled from the Great Miami River Tuesday. It was unoccupied. BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

A vehicle stolen from Middletown was pulled from the Great Miami River in Lemon Twp. Tuesday night, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 6:20 p.m. a resident reported seeing a partially submerged vehicle in the river in the 300 block of Oxford State Road near the Middletown water treatment plant.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Services (ERS) Unit utilized special water response equipment to safely reach the and assist with the recovery.

The unoccupied blue Kia SUV was reported stolen from Middletown, according to the sheriff’s office.
