Police: Gunman robs Hamilton gas station within hour of Warren County robbery

Hamilton police are looking for a gunman who robbed a Dixie Highway gas station Monday night about 45 minutes after a similar robbery in Warren County.

At about 8:35 p.m. The suspect pointed a gun and demanded money at about 8:35 p.m. from Shell at 2693 Dixie Highway, according to Hamilton police.

The description of the suspect, including the clothing, matches the description of a suspect in an armed robbery at another Shell station.

“It’s the same guy,” said Hamilton Sgt. Rich Burkhardt. “Clothing and everything matches.

Warren County Sheriff’s deputies were called at about 7:48 p.m. to the Shell at 9791 Mason Montgomery Road in Deerfield Twp. after a man robbed the gas station.

The suspect displayed a small, semi-automatic handgun and demanded money, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect is described as a man standing between 5 feet, 7 and 5 feet 9 inches with a stocky or heavyset build who was last seen wearing black athletic pants, a black Nike hooded sweatshirt and had a red bandanna around his face.
