An attempted break-in of a garage was reported about 3:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street.
A chainsaw was stolen between Sept. 30 and Dec. 16 from a residence in the 200 block of North 11th Street.
A break-in was reported about 3:06 a.m. from the Iron Pigs Motorcycle Club, 924 High St., where a side window was kicked in, a juke box as well as the inside door and door jamb were broken and an undetermined amount of cash was stolen.
Someone threw a rock through a window between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and 7:35 a.m. Dec. 16 at a residence in the 300 block of South C Street where an Xbox game system and controller and a basketball game were stolen.
Two people entered the Circle K store, 2206 Grand Blvd. between 9:30 and 9:59 p.m. and distracted the clerk in order to steal more than $260 in various Ohio Lottery tickets as well as a bottle of alcohol.
Someone damaged the window frame and the driver’s side window of a vehicle owned by Riverfront Diversified while it was parked overnight in the 700 block of 13th Street. Prescription medication and a GPS device were also stolen from the vehicle.
About $600 was stolen overnight from a purse that was in a residence in the 1100 block of Stephanie Drive.
A woman left her purse on the front porch of her home in the 1000 block of Haverhill Drive while she was unloading items from her vehicle between 2 and 2:30 p.m. When she come out of her home, she discovered her purse had been stolen.

A pointed object was used to damage the entire left side of a vehicle that was parked overnight in the 800 block of St. Clair Avenue.
Someone took more than $47 from a credit union account between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 12 that belongs to a resident in the 200 block of Heathrow Court. The theft report was filed by police on Dec. 16.
An unknown object was used to damage a windshield of a vehicle that was parked between Dec. 14 and Dec. 16 in the 1000 block of South 13th Street.
Someone used a stolen set of keys sometime overnight to enter an apartment in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard and broke several windows as well as damaging the washer, dryer and microwave oven. In addition, miscellaneous items in several rooms were broken and the apartment was trashed as well as a large kitchen knife was found stuck into a picture that was hanging on a wall. When the resident returned home, she called 911 for police assistance.
A 12 foot by 3 foot expanded metal and angle iron sign was stolen between 2:15 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. from a business in the 1100 block of South Erie Highway.
An all-terrain vehicle was stolen between Dec. 10 and Dec. 15 from a detached garage in the 100 block of Starr Avenue.
Someone punched holes into some drywall, broke two windows, and damaged two air conditioning units, a washer, dryer and microwave oven sometime overnight at a residence in the 500 block of Central Avenue. Damages were estimated at more than $1,700.
A dispute over clothes led to a person getting assaulted about 4:05 p.m. in the 600 block of Heaton Street.
