The manager reviewed surveillance footage and noticed the cashier using her cellphone to text someone several times and then counting the $20 bills in the register, according to a police report.
A customer in the drive-through ordered a sandwich and a drink and his bill was $4.72. He handed the cashier two $100 bills that were folded in half. The employee didn’t test the $100 bills to see if they were counterfeit as is company policy, according to police.
She placed the bills in the register, then gave the man $195.28 in change. When the transaction was complete, the two shook hands, according to the report.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing, police said.
