Marie Mullins, 29, was found inside the car. Officers believed she had overdosed, according to the police report.
Inside the house, officers found Marie Mullins’ mother, Darla, 53, and brother, David Jr. Both were also unresponsive, according to police.
When David Mullins, 27, awoke he told officers he keeps syringes in a closet. Three uncapped syringes were found on a closet shelf.

All three Mullins’ claimed to have not overdosed. “All three stated they took their medication,” according to the police report.
The mother, daughter and son refused treatment by Middletown paramedics.
David Mullins was arrested on a bench warrant and charged with drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.

Middletown police Lt. Jimmy Cunningham said officers have been to the residence 42 times since February and it is a “problem house,” where drug users gather.
“The neighbors are fed up,” Cunningham said, adding the city is working to resolve the situation through its chronic nuisance ordinance.
According to the Butler County Auditor’s Office, the house is owned through a trust in California.
