Wall display recognizes donors to Mercy Health

Leaders of Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital recently gathered to honor and celebrate their philanthropic partners and also to recognize the importance of the role philanthropy plays in the hospital’s ability to provide services to the community.

The celebration marked the end of a nearly two-year long journey to create a significant sculpture in the hospital that honors past community partners of 40 years also provides space to recognize those partners yet to come.

The new lifetime donor wall, unveiled at the event, features 214 community partners whose have chosen to support Mercy Health’s efforts in Butler County since Fairfield Hospital opened in 1978 as well as Circle of Mercy Donors.

The Circle of Mercy Society, formed this year, recognizes currently living donors who have chosen to make a sure their philanthropic support to Mercy Health continues long after they are gone from this life.

Also on display is a “mini museum” of historical medical artifacts from the past two centuries in Butler County donated by the Butler County Medical Society.
