Atrium Health Center also houses Premier Health Family Medicine, a primary care physician practice; the Center for Women’s Health and Wellness, an OB/GYN physician practice; and medical imaging and laboratory services including X-Ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and women’s imaging services.
Premier Health announced at the end of 2017 plans to launch urgent care services to bring new access points throughout Southwest Ohio this year. So far, four locations have opened in Englewood, Miamisburg, Springboro and Vandalia.
At Premier Health Urgent Care, board-certified advanced practice providers stand ready to treat minor illness or injury. Conditions treated in urgent care settings include cold, flu or sinus infection, as well as sprains, strains, minor burns and rashes.
“Atrium Medical Center is responding to the needs of the Mason and Deerfield Twp. communities by opening Premier Health Urgent Care at Atrium Health Center Mason, which reflects how our patients are using our services,” Atrium Medical Center President Michael Uhl said in a release. “Atrium Medical Center is focused on improving access, and with urgent care, virtual care and E-visits, we’re meeting our patients’ needs with modern health care delivery methods in convenient settings close to home.”
Total cost of the project is not available at this time, an Atrium spokesperson told this news outlet.
