A staffing solutions company for the automotive, manufacturing and information technology industries will make its Butler County debut with the hiring of 100 jobs for an automotive supplier with a Hamilton location.

MS Companies is scheduled to hold an open house next week at its new location in Hamilton, and its first objective is filling job openings for customer Valeo Climate Control.

Valeo’s Hamilton facility produces climate control systems such as heating, ventilation and air conditioners for cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles made by multiple automakers.

The new Hamilton location is MS Companies’ first foray into the Greater Cincinnati market and its third Ohio location, joining offices in Marysville and Toledo, according to Warren Wilkinson, the company’s chief marketing officer.

“We’re a fairly large operator and supplier in Ohio, but this is a new area for us,” he said. “We’re supporting our new customer, Valeo, in the Hamilton market … one of their larger locations. … With the signing of that agreement we thought it made sense to open an office in Hamilton to support the Hamilton operation.”

MS Companies also recently opened new offices in Greensburg and Seymour, Ind., to support Valeo’s operations there.

MS Companies, which has 24 offices in 14 states, Canada and Mexico, made the Inc. 5000 list of America's Fastest Growing Companies for the past three years and was named among Indiana's top 25 fastest-growing private companies.

Having a bricks-and-mortar location means MS Companies will be able to expand and offer other employment opportunities in the Greater Cincinnati area, Wilkinson said.

“Our tools and technology allows us to support customers across multiple industries (including) … automotive, food, aerospace, logistics (and other areas),” he said. “That provides lots of opportunities for our employees.”

MS Companies’ open house will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 1430 Main St., Hamilton.

During MS Companies’ open house, candidates will be able to apply for open positions and speak to MS Companies leaders about the career benefits the company offers.

Interested candidates may apply online at jobs.mscompanies.com/Valeo-Hamilton prior to attending the event.

Wilkinson said the 100 positions are temp-to-hire jobs, which will bring approved applicants on immediately as employees of MS Companies.

After meeting certain criteria, healthcare options will be offered. Becoming a full-time Valeo employee could occur sometime in the next six to eight months after other criteria are met, he said.

That switch to becoming a Valeo employee would include an increase in pay, full health care benefits and a 501K with a 5 percent match, Wilkinson said.

“It’s a really great opportunity,” he said.

At any given day, the firm has more than 3,000 people working for it, with about 1,100 customers across its 14-state footprint, but also provides opportunies to be employed by MS Companies itself, Wilkinson said.
