El Rancho Nuevo is working to open a new location in Butler County.

The Mexican restaurant applied for a zoning certificate Dec. 6 for 9037 Union Centre Boulevard in West Chester Twp.

The new 5,242-square-foot location, which will feature its own tortilla machine, plus outdoor dining, a garden and patio heaters, is expected to open by next June, according to co-owner Juan Espinoza.

“It’s going to be big and beautiful,” Espinoza said.

The new restaurant joins existing locations in each of Fairfield Twp. and Liberty Twp., two in Deerfield Twp. and three in West Chester Twp. It will replace an existing 5,200-square-foot restaurant two miles to the west at 4978 Union Centre Pavilion in West Chester.

Rossi said he signed a 3-year lease for the new 1,400-square-foot location. The space is evenly split between a front display area with a lounge and a television for viewing informational videos, testimonials and holding social events and a training and storage area in the back.

Your CBD Store, which started 18 months, has more than 600 stores nationwide with eight open in the Tri-State area and more on the way. Each location employees two or three people.
