He's served his community for seven years and has helped take $1 million worth of narcotics off the streets of the Arizona town, KTVK reported.
His handler adopted Bruno after his last day on the force and Bruno will have a new life "chasing rabbits instead of bad guys," as the dispatcher said during his last call video.
A followup post shows that Bruno is ready for his new assignment of "dreaming of ice cream sandwiches" as he lounges around the house.
