Multiple Butler County companies holding hiring events next week

TruGreen, a $1.3 billion North America premier lawn care company with a 40-year history in lawn service, is hiring 12 new employees. The company has operations in approximately 46 states, 240 branch locations, 78 satellite locations and a fleet of more than 8,300 vehicles.

TruGreen has more than 14,000 associates and says it is a company that continues to add new services for its customers, such as Sprinkler Repair and Maintenance and TruGreen Mosquito Defense.

Forbes, in December 2017, listed the company as No. 10 on its list of Happiest Companies to Work For in 2018.

The company is holding a hiring event from noon to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdayat 4041 Thunderbird Lane in Fairfield. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is being offered.

Available positions include sales representative and full-time general laborer. Sales reps sell residential lawn care services to new and existing customers both in-person and by phone. Laborers apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns and drive a company vehicle to customer locations, measuring the lawn of potential customers to provide them with an accurate cost of TruGreen’s service.

Horizon HR Staffing

Horizon HR Staffing is holding a hiring event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at OhioMeansJobs-Butler County, 4631 Dixie Highway, Fairfield.

The company has more than 45 positions available within Butler, Clermont, Warren and Hamilton Counties.

Those positions include CNC machine & machine operators, warehouse/forklift, grinders, assemblers, pickers & packers, administrative assistants, shipping & receiving, call center representatives, welders, general laborers, cdl drivers, quality control benefits offered and all work shifts available.

Hourly pay for each position ranges from $11 to $30 an hour.

BC Forward

BC Forward is holding a hiring event from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at OhioMeansJobs-Butler County. Employment opportunities include Xerox in Middletown for first and second shifts for a 1-year contract with the possibility for extension. Overtime is available.

Salaries range between $12 and $13.85. Certification is available on site for a forklift position.

RDI

RDI, an outsourcer of telecommunication, IT and creative business solutions, is looking to hire at least 50 new customer service representatives for its Oxford location. The 40-year company provides call center and administrative services, as well as market research to a broad mix of companies.

Candidates are responsible for entering customer information into the system, working with a team to provide solutions and answering calls at times from customers to answer questions, or concerns. They also will research information using multiple resources and routine calls to the appropriate resource, identify and escalate priority issues and problem solve.

Starting salary is $10 to $11 an hour. RDI is holding a hiring event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at OhioMeansJobs-Butler County.
