At Liberty Center, Alabama-based Cobb Theatres will open not only its first Ohio location, but also the company's first-ever dual concept cinema.
“We have two very distinct experiences,” said Fred Meyers, vice president of CineBistro and food and beverage operations.
The Luxury 15 theater is open to customers of any age and features individual reclining leather seats. CineBistro is a dinner-and-movie experience, open to customers ages 21 and older.
The two-level theater will also open a full-service restaurant and bar called Cobbster’s.
Tickets are on sales now and executives warned customers not to wait to buy them. Tickets sell out quick online, they said. Reservations for both the luxury theater and CineBistro can be made at www.liberty-center.com/tenants/Cobb-CineBistro.
Adult ticket prices are $14.50 for CineBistro and $10.50 for the luxury side, they said. One auditorium also has D-BOX simulation technology and for movies adapted for the service, it will create moving and motion effects designed with the film, according to Cobb. D-BOX seats have an $8 up-charge.
Approximately 160 people have been hired, but job openings are still available. For more information, contact the theater at 513-463-0469.
Liberty Center is the mixed office, residential and retail development open now in Liberty Twp. at the crossroads of Liberty Way, Ohio 129 and Interstate 75. The first phase consists of just over 1 million-square-feet of shopping, dining, office and residential space.
