LeSourdsville West Chester Road between Cincinnati-Dayton Road and Cherry Lane Farm Drive/Lyonhill Drive reopened to traffic around 2:15 p.m. after being shut down for two hours, according to township officials.

A motorist who said she was driving under the bridge told dispatchers she was unsure if the rapidly moving object was a car.
“It was so fast,” she said. “It flew down and it hit the side of the bridge and something flew off of it.”
A man driving on I-75 called 911 to report the car had jumped the median and was “mangled” after splitting in half, while a woman driving under the bridge described the vehicle as “totally destroyed.”
UPDATE @ 1:20 p.m.:
The Butler County Coroner’s Office has arrived on scene of a crash.
A tow truck is in the process of removing the vehicle, which apparently split in half after striking a highway support structure.

A person is dead after a vehicle veered off Interstate 75 overpass and crashed onto the road below.

The crash occurred around 11:12 a.m. when a gold-colored car in the northbound lanes crossed over the median into the southbound lanes at the 21 mile marker of the busy interstate and came off the roadway, plunging onto Lesourdsville West Chester Road, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatchers.
Emergency responders are working to remove the body from the vehicle, dispatchers said.
Lesourdsville West Chester Road is closed at Cherry Lane Farm Drive and Cincinnati-Dayton Road, according to Barb Wilson, spokeswoman for West Chester Twp. There’s no word yet on how long it will take for it to re-open.
