Man with 22 needles in a nearby bag appears to overdose in Middletown gas station parking lot

A Middletown man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct after apparently overdosing in the parking lot of gas station Tuesday.

Officers and paramedics were dispatched to the BP Station on Ohio 122 about 11:50 a.m. on a report of a man passed out in a car.

The man regained consciousness when officers opened the car door and observed a hypodermic syringe and needle on the passenger seat, according to the police report.

Paramedics administered Narcan and the 31-year-old man was take to Atrium Medical Center.

Police found 22 needles in bag in the vehicle and three spoons with residue. The man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct/ intoxication (heroin).
