Although the business serves a wide array of gelato, cakes, specialty European-style coffees, classic French pastries and homemade candies, the macaron is Le Macaron’s claim to fame.
It offers 26 different kinds of the complex confection, from Belgian Chocolate, Colombian Coffee, Lemon Cream and Salted Caramel to Bailey’s, Mojito, Tea Matcha and Madagascar Black Vanilla.
Each macaron resembles a colorful mini-hamburger and bears resemblance in name only with the coconut-laden macaroon.
"At around 80 calories each and made with no gluten containing ingredients, these sweet treats are great for sharing and offering as a gift for any occasion," according to the company's website.
Founded in Florida in 2009 by Rosalie Guillem and her daughter Audrey, the patisserie franchise features 50 locations nationwide.
All baking and preparations are done in Le Macaron French Pastries Confectionery kitchens.
