Woman taken to hospital after strike by semi in Middletown

A woman struck by a tractor trailer was taken to the hospital this morning.

The incident occurred at 10:29 a.m. at the corner of North Verity Parkway and Reinartz Boulevard, according to dispatchers.

Officers at the scene told this news outlet that the woman, who was talking after she was hit, was taken by Middletown life squad to Atrium Medical Center.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is on the scene and investigating the incident.
