Hundreds lined up in front of Miami University President Greg Crawford’s home in Oxford today as part of a worldwide network of protests against climate change.

The protesters covered an entire block, and many of them carried signs and chanted to urge Miami to join a climate change agreement already signed by hundreds of universities in the U.S. and across the world.

Millions are expected to be part of the walkouts of schools and businesses today.

The events are part of the “Fridays for Future” campaign, in which students leave schools on Fridays to call for climate change attention, according to CBS News.

On Monday, leaders from across the world gather at the Climate Action Summit in New York. The U.N. chief wants the world's carbon pollution to be cut by 45% in the next decade.
