Victim ID’d in fatal Middletown crash involving vehicle, box truck

A 63-year-old Middletown woman was killed in a vehicle crash Monday at the corner of Verity Parkway and Lafayette Avenue, according to a city official.

Teresa Day was the driver of the Ford that was hit by a box truck, then pinned between it and a semi truck. Day was extricated from her vehicle, transported from the scene, then pronounced dead at Atrium Medical Center.
