A trial for a Middletown man indicted by a Butler County grand jury for three counts of rape has been set for next year in Butler County Common Pleas Court.

Judge Greg Stephens said there was a scheduling conflict next week, so the trial was continued until Jan. 6, 2020. The judge also said both parties agreed there would be “no resolution” short of a trial.
