Streets in Hamilton near the Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill project have reopened after several weeks of work to repair water mains.

The city reported that North B Street between Black Street and Rhea Avenue opened to traffic on Tuesday after a contractor completed water main work.

The project involved a 16-inch cast-iron main being replaced by a 16-inch ductile iron main, which will be “abandoned in place.”

The water main replacement was done before construction happens in the immediate of the Spooky Nook project.
