Semi hauling beer collapses in Butler County, blocking traffic

A disabled semi truck hauling beer blocked part of Route 4 in Liberty Twp. on Friday.

Deputies from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office closed down all northbound lanes of Route 4, just north of the Liberty-Fairfield Road intersection, and are re-routing traffic.

 

No one was injured in the incident, which occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m., dispatchers said. The road was reopen by about 3:30 p.m.

The large truck, whose signage read “Miller High Life,” appeared to have had its middle storage section collapse downward onto the roadway.
