“We’ve had a great season thanks to all the support from the community and all the patrons who come in and visit the gem of a facility that it is,” Schommer said.

The city manager noted the figures are not an indication of how the year may end, as there are several more shows before the season closes.
Last Friday’s show — The Beach Boys with the Righteous Brothers — was the eighth sell-out show of the year.
There are 13 more shows before the season ends Sept. 27.
This week’s shows include the Goo Goo Dolls with Phillip Phillips on Wednesday, a sold-out performance by Maddie & Tae on Thursday, and Graceland presents Elvis: Live in Concert on Friday.
Last week, the city council had to pass legislation authorizing the purchase of an additional $50,000 worth of alcohol and spirits for the venue.

“It tells me that we built the right venue at the right time at the right place,” said Councilman Mark Campbell. “It literally put us on the map.”
Rose Music Center is owned by the city of Huber Heights and managed by Music & Entertainment Management, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
The facility has 4,200 seats and opened in 2015.
