Private amusement park in the region opening Monday to the public

A private amusement park in the region is opening Monday to the public in honor of Labor Day.

Stricker’s Grove, 11490 Hamilton Cleves Road just outside of Ross Twp., will be open from 1-8 p.m. Monday. Cost is $14 per person, and kids 2 and younger are free. Admission includes all rides, roller coasters, 18-hole mini golf, soft drinks and parking.

Food and alcohol will be available for purchase or you may bring in your food.

Rides will be open 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.

Stricker’s Grove has two coasters, a carousel, Ferris wheel, scrambler, tilt-a-whirl, train, carnival-style rides, 18-hole miniature golf course and arcade with video games.
