Police: Butler County woman reports losing $15K in scam involving Hong Kong criminal report

A woman told police she was scammed out of $15,000 by an unknown person who made her believe he was from some type of law enforcement agency, sending a photo of what appeared to be a Hong Kong criminal sheet. She said she fell for it because she believed the caller to be legitimate because they were able to obtain this type of information.

She was given two bank accounts and told to transfer money into them and did so.
