Middletown restaurant to reopen this week with new name, dining room

The Spinning Fork in Middletown is getting a new dining room and a new name.

The restaurant at 2229 N. Verity Parkway, which closed Sept. 2. for remodeling efforts, will reopen Tuesday as Cibo e Vino Italian Food & Wine.

“Due to circumstances out of our control, the company has decided to end our relationship with The Spinning Fork,” owner Abe Shteiwi said via the restaurant’s Facebook page. “We would like to thank everyone for your business through the past 6 years.

“We look forward to serving you for many years to come. Thank you again for your continued support.”

Cibo e Vino will be opening with the same management team and staff, Shteiwi said.

It will continue on the same Facebook page. A new website will be launched soon.
