The facility also includes 30 one-bedroom permanent supportive housing apartments designed to help the chronically homeless, said Tim Williams, executive director of operations at Hope House Mission. He said the apartments include counseling and case management offices.
Abilities First gifted the Grove Street property to Hope House Mission. Other project partners include: Butler Metropolitan Housing Authority, City Gospel Mission, The City of Middletown, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Finance Fund, Heritage Bank, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Ohio Housing Finance Agency, RiverHills Bank, Platte Architecture + Design, and The Model Group, Inc.
Funding for the $11.4 million project came from tax credits, private support, and grants, Williams said.
