Middletown Area Republican Club to host Monday night forum featuring 2020 candidates

The Middletown Area Republican Club is hosting a candidates forum Monday evening for three 2020 races.

The public is invited to Central Connections, 3907 Central Ave., Middletown to listen to the following Republican candidates:

For Ohio Senate: Ohio Rep. Candice Keller, R-Middletown; Ohio Rep. George Lang, R-West Chester Twp.; and West Chester Twp. Trustee Lee Wong. (This race has a Democratic candidate, Kathy Wyenandt)

For the 53rd Ohio House District: Brett Guido, Thomas Hall, Joe Mulligan, Diane Mullins and Jeffrey Wellbaum. (This race has a Democratic candidate, Michelle Novak, and a Libertarian candidate, Tim Conrad)

For the 12th District Court of Appeals: Ohio Sen. Bill Coley, R-Liberty Twp., Common Pleas Judge Noah Powers, Warren County attorney Matthew Byrne and Clermont County assistant prosecutor Mary Lynne Birck.

There will be a formal MARC meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday and the candidates forum is set to start at 6:45 p.m.
