Police at Miami University are investigating an alleged sexual assault reported by a female student.

Miami University police said they received a report from the student claiming she was attacked Sunday evening, according to a story being reported by the Journal-News' media partner WCPO-TV.

According to the story, the campus police said the assault occurred between 11:30 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. in an outdoor area in the northern part of the Oxford campus’ central quad, police said Monday.

The attacker was described as a brown-haired, blue-eyed, white man of college age with a noticeable gap in his front teeth, about 6’ 2” tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Police said the suspect was wearing black T-shirt, jeans, white 3-stripe Adidas brand tennis shoes.

The victim told police she did not know her attacker.
