“Closure is what I need right now,” said Coe’s mother, Shula Woodworth. “I need that as a mom. If she is dead, then I guess kind of - I don’t know- I kind of want them to find her because I want closure.”

When the missing report was filed in September about Coe, she followed other cases of missing women all living within a 35-mile radius from cities along Interstate 71/75. One woman, a Middletown native, has since been found living in Kentucky. Though as of March, besides Coe, there were still four missing women from Middletown and a missing woman from Springfield.

The other missing women all live within a 35-mile radius from cities along Interstate 71/75. All the women are adults with a history of drug abuse, and some were homeless and had a history of prostitution, Middletown police Lt. Scott Reeve told this news outlet. Here’s what we know about the other missing women:
1. BRANDY ENGLISH, 41, MISSING MAY 11, 2016 FROM MIDDLETOWN
Brandy English was first reported missing in May 2016 by her daughter. English was a friend of Lindsay Bogan, who was missing for months before her remains were found in July 2016 by a farmer, according to police. Lindsay Bogan, 30, was identified through dental records, Butler County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Anthony Dwyer told the Journal-News.

2. AMBER WHITMER, 30, MISSING JUNE 6, 2016, FROM SPRINGFIELD
Amber Whitmer, now 31, went missing in June 2016 from Springfield. Whitmer was last seen by her mother Karen Whitmer in May 2016. She usually would check in at least once every three months, Karen Whitmer said. Whitmer is a 31-year-old, white female with with brown hair. She's about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
“She always contacted me on my birthday or Thanksgiving or Christmas,” Karen Whitmer said.
Whitmer has been charged in the past with solicitation. Any one who might have seen Amber Whitmer is asked to call the Springfield Police Division at 937-324-7685.
3. AMBER FLACK, 30, MISSING SEPT. 1, 2016, FROM MIDDLETOWN
Amber Flack was reported missing by her father on Sept. 1, 2016. Detectives have followed leads about Flack’s whereabouts, even traveling to Lexington, Ky., but have not found anyone who has heard from the 30-year-old, according to police. Flack is described as white, 5 feet and 9 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

4. MELINDA (ONEY) MILLER, 47, MISSING FEB. 19, 2017, FROM MIDDLETOWN
Melinda Miller was reported missing on Feb. 17, 2017. According to Miller’s aunt she was last seen on Grimes St. leaving a house with a man. Melissa also goes by the names Melinda Oney and Mindy Oney. Melissa is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes, weighing 140 pounds.
5. MICHELLE BURGAN, 47, MISSING MAY 16, 2017, FROM MIDDLETOWN
Michelle Burgan went missing in may 2017. Michelle was last known to be at the Hope House in Middletown, but it has been confirmed she is no longer there. She may have been spotted in Dayton, according to police.
