Little Bit, an Australian shepherd mix, black and brown in color, was injured and had burns on her face, according to police officials. She has one blue eye and one brown eye.
Police are asking those who live in the area to check under decks or sheds because Little Bit may try to find a place to stay warm.
The owner of the home said it’s unclear how many dogs, cats, lizards and snakes died in the fire. Little Bit appears to be the one pet that survived the fire, though she hadn’t been found today. The man who answered the phone said he was “too shaken up” to talk about the fire.
