• The Butler County Sheriff Office's Spooktacular Event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today (Oct. 31) in the front lobby of the Butler County Jail, 705 Hanover St. in Hamilton. Not only will there be candy for trick-or-treaters, but the sheriff's office will be raffling off two bicycles. This is a great chance for those dressed as law enforcement officers to meet the real thing.
• The St. Clair Ave. Baptist Church in Hamilton will provide shelter from the rain during its Trunk or Treat from 6 to 8 p.m. today. The event will take place under shelter at the back of the church at 695 St. Clair Ave. The church will also be serving hot dogs.
• The Pater Worship Center will hold a trick or treat event indoors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at 2104 Pater Ave. in Hamilton.
• The Fairfield Twp. Home Depot will be passing out candy at each of its departments from 5 to 7 p.m. at 6562 Winford Ave. The store's associates will be dressed up in costumes as well.
