A high-profile clothing retailer plans to close its Warren County location.

Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th plans to close at Cincinnati Premium Outlets location in mid-December, a store official told this news outlet. The retailer opened at the outlet mall in August 2009, when the mall itself made its debut.

Parent company Saks Fifth Avenue continues to operate a store at 101 W. Fifth St. in downtown Cincinnati.

FIRST REPORT: Saks Off 5th planning to close up to 20 stores

Cincinnati Premium Outlets general manager Mary Ann Mattschek said the outlet mall is “continually scouting the latest and most relevant retail experiences” for area shoppers.

“Changes in the marketplace offer us opportunities to add fresh and relevant new retail and dining options that will serve the community,” Mattschek said in a statement.

It has been a busy 2019 for Cincinnati Premium Outlets. So far this year, the outlet mall has welcomed an AT&T store, Charley’s Philly Steaks, Fanatics by Lids, Pepper Palace, Proletics, Puma and Vans. It also welcomed an UGG Holiday Pop-Up store and a Bass Factory Pop-Up store.
