The safety of our students and staff is a priority for the Hamilton City School District.
Linden Elementary School received a phone call today from law enforcement to go into a lockout due to a person who has barricaded himself in a house near the school.
The lockout was external only, this means that no individual was permitted to enter or exit the building, but classes continued uninterrupted within the building.
At no time were students or staff in danger.
