Last week’s move by 33 students at Miami University Hamilton was the latest step for the project, now called Third + Dayton.
What else is going inside? Here’s a look floor by floor:
Floors 1 through 5: To be determined. The spaces may be used for offices, more housing, even a hotel, with spaces for shops that face the street another possibility.
6th Floor: Will have 26 one-bedroom apartments for the Work + program, with full kitchens, housing 52 students.
7th Floor: Has 16 two-bedroom apartments, each with two beds per apartment, for Miami University's English-immersion program. By Miami's second semester, 64 students could be living there.
8th Floor: Will soon have market-rate apartments available to the general public, featuring great views of the city. There will be 24 one-bedroom apartments and 4 two-bedroom units. Those should be available around the end of the year.
Also up for sale or lease is a four-story building across the street with four levels of 20,000 square feet.
