Arnett was arrested at her West Carrollton home Tuesday as deputies served a search warrant, however she was no longer listed in jail Thursday afternoon. When this news organization spoke to Arnett at her home Thursday, she declined comment on the case.
Arnett was placed on leave with the district immediately following the incident and escorted off the school’s property, court records showed.
“You hear the stuff going around, but you don’t expect it to be your own school,” said Logan Clark, a senior at Franklin High School.
According to state records, Arnett was issued a teaching license to instruct social studies for grades 7 to 12 in May 2017. Prior to that, she was issued a short-term substitute teaching license for general education.
