There are now 158 Tide Cleaners locations across the United States, he said.
The new building will be about 2,500 square feet excluding the double lane drive-through valet, D’Alonzo said. It will be a full-production facility offering service under the promise of “in by 9 a.m., out by 5 p.m.”
It also will feature the latest in kiosk technology for picking up orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“The kiosk resembles an ATM that is activated by the customer’s credit card,” D’Alonzo said. “The automated storage system will find and deliver the order to the external cabinet.”
D’Alonzo said he hopes that 10 to 20 percent of customers at the existing Liberty Plaza Drive location will move to the new location.
“The southeast area of Liberty Twp. continues to grow and our current location is reaching its storage capacity,” he said.
The new location, which is expected to open in July, will hire approximately 10 employees and have the potential to grow to 20 employees once the business is fully established, D’Alonzo said.
The father-son team said they chose Kyle’s Station for several reasons, including its proximity to Ohio 4.
“Route 4’s commuter traffic will allow those commuters to take advantage of our drop off to work and pick up to home without leaving their vehicles,” D’Alonzo said.
Tide’s location at the entrance to a new Kroger Marketplace currently under construction nearby is aimed at providing further convenience for customers who want to combine their cleaning needs with their grocery shopping needs, he said.
In addition, the northwest corner of Liberty Twp. is a growing part of the community that will offer residents a good variety of convenient services, retail, health care and education, D’Alonzo said.
