Middletown’s Thunderfest Cruise-In on Saturday, July 28, is expected to draw close to 200 cars from across the region.

Car enthusiasts won’t want to miss three upcoming events in Butler County, including two happening this weekend.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Thunderfest Cruise-In in Middletown, Hamilton’s Antique Car Parade, and Oxford’s Red Brick Reunion and Porsche Show.

THUNDERFEST CRUISE-IN 

When: 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 28. Cars can begin registering at noon.

Where: Cars will be displayed on Broad Street, north of Central Avenue in downtown Middletown.

What: The event is expected to draw close to 200 cars from across the region. Spectators can expect to see historic cars, Street Rods, Hot Rods, Rat Rods, motorcycles and more. "Thunder" sessions, where cars get together to cackle, rumble and purr for fans, will take place hourly.

Cost: There is no charge for car entries or for spectators.

More than 300 vehicles are expected at the 64th annual Jerry E. Moore Memorial Antique and Classic Car Parade in Hamilton on Saturday, July 28.

ANTIQUE CAR PARADE

When: Saturday, July 28. Vehicles will be on display and judged from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The parade will depart the historic courthouse in Hamilton at 1 p.m. and travel to Fairfield Crossings (Ohio 4 and Symmes Road). The parade will depart from Fairfield around 2:30 p.m. and return to downtown Hamilton for the awards ceremony that begins at 3:30 p.m.

Where: Butler County Courthouse Square, 101 High St., Hamilton

What: More than 300 vehicles are expected, and 180 trophies will be awarded as part of the 64th annual car show and parade.

Cost: Public viewing of cars is free. There is a registration fee for vehicles. Click here for more information.

More: Roads along the parade route will be closing immediately preceding the parade and reopening after the parade passes.

The 2018 Red Brick Reunion Porsche Show will take place Saturday, Aug. 11, in Oxford.

RED BRICK REUNION AND PORSCHE SHOW

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11

Where: Oxford's Uptown Park, 4 N. Main St.

What: The streets in Oxford's Uptown district will close for the day, making ample space to line the streets with Porsches. The show is open to the public and all car enthusiasts are welcome. Any Porsche owner can enter their car into the show.

Cost: Public viewing of cars is free. There is a registration fee for vehicles.
