The state saw 632 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. The 21-day average of new cases reported each day is 475.
There have been 7,447 hospitalizations and 1,886 ICU admissions reported in Ohio in connection to coronavirus.
On Tuesday, Gov. Mike DeWine stressed the importance of wearing face masks and continuing other protective measures as Ohio continues to reopen and the economy grows.
If Ohioans can slow the spread of the virus, then the state can keep reopening and more people will be able to work, he said.
The governor also said that guidelines on K-12 schools and resuming nursing home visitations should be available in the next few days.
